Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts Underway

Hurricane Harvey has devastated Texas, and Houston, the fourth-largest city in the United States, in particular. Some areas may see more than 50 inches of rain by the tiime the storm ends, according to forecasters from the National Weather Service. Many people have lost their homes; several people have lost their lives.

The relief and recovery efforts are expected to be extensive and occur over a period of years.
