We invite the community to support the work of our local nonprofits, as we have done through sponsorship grants, by supporting one or more of the following events this year:

November

Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley
$2,000 to sponsor the annual Commodore Hull Thanksgiving 5K Run/Walk through the historic downtowns of Derby and Shelton on November 28.

October

Master's Table Community Meals, Inc.
$500 to sponsor the fourth annual fundraiser, "At the Hop" at the Church of the Assumption Hall in Ansonia on October 5.

July

Kennedy Center
$500 to sponsor Raise the Bar for children, teens and adults with Autism, at the annual Brewfest at The Hops Company in Derby on July 18.

Derby Historical Society
$750 to sponsor the Annual Silver Tea of the Derby Historical Society on July 8.

June

Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County
$250 to sponsor the 19th Annual Gold Invitational at Greenwich Country Club on June 27.

St. Mary St. Michael School
$500 to sponsor the 11^th Annual Housy Duck Race on the Housatonic River during SummerFest in Derby on June 19.

Oxford High School Booster Club
$750 to sponsor the Senior Night Lock the evening before graduation at Oxford High School on June 11.

The Lower Naugatuck Valley Parent Child Resource Center
$1,000 to sponsor the Ride/Walk for Children to benefit PCRC at Quarry Walk in Oxford on June 9.

Recreation Camp Inc.
$500 to sponsor the 103 annual FOBAL Feast at the Recreation Camp on June 5.

American Legion, Sutter-Terlizzi Post 16
$700 to sponsor one boy and one girl from Shelton to attend the Boys State and Girls State Programs in June.

$250 to sponsor the 3rd Annual Driving for Memories Golf Outing at the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course on May 22.

Friends of the Ansonia Library
$425 to sponsor the performance for Osaki-san: William Gillette's Gentleman Valet, in partnership with the East Haddam Stage Company, at the Ansonia Library on May 19.

Shelton High School PTSO
$750 to sponsor the Shelton High School Post Prom on May 18.

Derby High School PTO
$750 to sponsor the post prom event at the Sports Center of CT in Shelton that will take place May 17 - May 18.

Boy Scout Troop 3 Derby
$500 to sponsor the 95th Annual Scout Gang Show at Derby Methodist Church on May 11.

St. Joseph High School
$750 to sponsor a post prom event at the Shelton Rinks & Sports Center on May 10.

Seymour High School Post Prom
$750 to sponsor the SHS Post Prom committee in organizing a safe fun-filled event for the students of Seymour High School on May 4.

Hidden Acres Therapeutic Riding Center
$500 to sponsor the 2nd annual Kentucky Derby Party and Fundraiser in Naugatuck on Saturday May 4.

Adam Wysota Foundation
$1,000 to sponsor Dancing with the Stars to Benefit Adam's House at Oak Lane Country Club on May 3.

American Legion, John Collins Post 24
$700 to sponsor one boy and one girl to the Boys/ Girls State Program.
