The Great Give 2023 is May 3-4!

The Great Give, a 36-hour online fundraising event created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven in 2010, unites donors with nonprofits serving Greater New Haven in a fun and engaging way.

It raises money and awareness for so many causes important to our region, with valuable matching funds and prizes from The Community Foundation, the Valley Community Foundation and other generous sponsors. In 2022, more than $3.46 million was raised for 500+ nonprofits.

Visit TheGreatGive.org between 8 a.m. on May 3 and 8 p.m. on May 4, choose one or more charitable organizations and donate. You can also help your favorite nonprofits through peer-to-peer fundraising.

Show your commitment to our local community, enhance goodwill, grow your business … and have fun doing it! Prize sponsorships can be customized to support nonprofits serving specific geographic locations within Greater New Haven or specific areas of interest (e.g., youth services, health care, the arts, environment, education, etc.). Attention Nonprofits:

Registration for nonprofits to participate opens Feb. 1, 2023, and will remain open through 11:59 p.m. on April 24. (Please note: In order to be eligible for Donor Advised Fund grants, registration must be completed by April 18). Learn more and register here.
