Marianne has spent over 25 years as a financial advisor helping individuals, families, and businesses manage and organize their finances and investments to help them reach their goals.

For over 20 years, Marianne has been very active in volunteer and service opportunities with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport and her home parish of St. Joseph’s in Shelton. For the past two years, she has also taken the opportunity to provide financial education and leadership programs for children through Junior Achievement and the Girl Scouts.

Marianne has served on the Valley Community Foundation’s Advisory Council and Development Committee and is looking forward to continuing to serve the Valley as a member of the Board of Directors.

Marianne and her husband, Brad Smythe, have lived in Shelton for over 33 years, raising two daughters in the Shelton schools. She is happiest spending time with family, especially her two grandchildren.
